Theenduserconsequentlyreceivesacompleteengineeringtoolforthesystemconfiguration,consistingofstandardsoftwareandhardwarecomponents,withouttheuseofsystemormanufacturer-specificconfigurationsoftware.FortheimplementationofitsPROFIBUSmasterproducts(DFPROFI,DFPROFIPCIundFNL)inaFDT1.2compatibleFrameApplicationCOMSOFTthusoffersacommunicationDTM,whichsupportsDPMasterclass2inconnectionwithDP/V1services. Asaresult,thestand-aloneFrameapplicationPACTWAREbyPactwareAssoc.andFNL,f.ex.,canbeeasilycombinedintoanetwork-capableengineeringstation,suchasfortheintegrationofcomplexProfibusPAEquipment.
