Elementar now offers the option for its elemental analyzers vario EL III and vario MACRO to also determine the sum of halogens (Cl, Br, I) by means of a special combustion and detection unit. The working range from 0.1 ?g to 50 ?g Cl allows the determination from trace levels up to high concentrations. The sample handling as well as the automatic determination of 79 samples by an integrated autosampler is simple ? as known from our elemental analyzers. The samples may be liquid or solid. The sample weight covers the range between 1 mg up to approx. 100 mg. The change from CHNS to halogen operation is easily possible.
