除砂清洁器是钻井作业中的第二级固控设备，主要用来除去钻井液中粒径为40－74 m的有害固相颗粒。利用离心沉降工作原理，悬浮颗粒受到离心加速度的作用后可从液体中分离出来。
目前有除砂清洁器型号JZQJ300×2、JZQJ250×2和JZQJ300×1、JZQJ250×1，前者适用于3000米以上的钻机，后者适用于3000米以下的小型钻机和修井钻机。
As a solids control equipment of the second stage in drilling operation, desander is used to remove harmful solid particles of 40-74 m in drilling liquid. Suspending particles can be separated from the liquid under the centrifugal acceleration, by use of working principle of centrifugal subsidence.
At present time, two types, ZQJ300×2/ZQJ250×2 and ZQJ300×1/ZQJ250×1, are available. The former applies to over 3000-meter-long drills, and the latter applies to small drills of less than 3000 meters and service rig.
